IF… Up North
You might have heard of IF because of their famous brunches, but it’s also the perfect spot for a hot cup of coffee whether you’re on the go or stopping for a chat. Their House Espresso is sourced from North Star Coffee Roasters with lots of alternative milk options such as Oatly Oat Milk & Coconut Milk. If you love to add something sweet to your coffee, they have lots of great syrups to choose from.

Laynes Espresso
Opening back in 2011, one of Leeds longest standing coffee shops Laynes has built up an amazing reputation over the last ten years. Just a few steps from Leeds Train Station, Laynes Espresso is actually the number one rated coffee shop in the entire city, according to Trip Advisor reviews. For those really warm days (whenever they happen) the coffee shop is on hand to serve up some cold refreshments including fresh juices and iced lattes.

Green Room
Green Room blends an eclectic mix of industrial fittings, warm soft furnishings and reclaimed furniture. North Star provides the very best ethically sourced coffee beans and the team knows what they’re doing when it comes to making a good coffee. If you need to have a business meeting close to the train station, Green Room is perfect… and you can even stop for a cocktail afterwards.

Nam Song Caphe
This lovely cafe and restaurant serve authentic Vietnamese coffees, bahn mi baguettes, bowls of pho and more. We could talk about the food forever but we know you’re here for the coffee, and there’s some proper Vietnamese coffee to be enjoyed. Caphe trung – a Hanoi speciality made with condensed milk and egg yolk mix – is a house favourite, but can also be taken without for those who don’t like the sound of egg in their coffee (you should give it a go though.)

Focusing on fantastic service, a lovely working environment and above all brilliant coffee and cakes, this is the place to be for your morning cup of joe. They use all organic milk from Acorn Dairy, ethically sourced coffee from Caravan Coffee Roasters, all the best locally sourced bakes & pastries from Black Day Bakes, Bakeri Baltzersen and some special treats cooked at home by the owner’s mum, now that’s authentic.
